Vegetables take up less space if they dehydrate.
Vegetables take up less space if they have been dehydrated.
So. Dehydrate has both v.tr and v.intr
Seems 2 sentences have the same meaning.....right ?

Well Ara, yes and maybe not exactly. (1) implies coincidental, eg, the result of age; (2) likely performed on the veggie by humanoids
