It looks like a 19 - is that why you say this if from 1900?

Yes. It seems to be written in old European style.

This is the photo of a signature that is barely visible.

To be honest I don't think it's worth a great deal. You see a lot of paintings of houses at car boot sales, and a lot of them are fairly amateur, either of their own or neighbour's houses.

It looks quite nice, but don't expect to make a fortune out of it.

Best answer. Its not more than a $100 painting.
