you've gotta be the sweetest sweetheart evah!!
Damnit.
It's been raining a lot here the past few days and I'm very concerned that my FIRST TENNIS LESSON might be a no go this evening. Hmph. Is it not prudent to play tennis if the ground is wet? I know there is some difference in courts and such...but does wetness make a big difference? It sure doesn't in football...
Anyhow, if there are no mishaps, I will report here later this evening on how my lesson went. I know you all await this information with baited (bated?) breath.
If you're playing on a clay court, wear cleats and old clothes.
From what I hear, Florida needs the rain, anyway.
I had a BLAST of a time.
I missed most of the balls, but I managed to do a tiny bit of volleying.
I learned all about :
backhand
forehand
overhead
racket/ball control
power
follow through
serving line
base line
I also got lots of excercise. Man o man. If I am able, I'll go back for another lesson on Thursday. I can't wait for my next class - whoo oooo. The ladies were oohing and ahhing over my 13 dollar tennis racket lol. How funny.
I think my daughter has her last match tonight of the season in highschool.
Let us know how her team does.
I was rained out and it's still raining - LOL
