Osso tosses the pistachios in a small dish into the air over the counter to ascertain how many land back in the dish, an indicator that she should eat them to ward off crazy game results..

Week 14 already -

Dallas, perhaps, but I won't be completely surprised if Chicago wins
Minnesota
NY Giants
St.Louis
Miami
New Orleans
Houston
Detroit
Indianapolis
Cincinnati
Arizona
Denver
San Francisco (secretly for Oakland)
Philadelphia (won't be shocked if Seattle does it)

By my reckoning AndyD and MeGentrix are 11-3 and can not be caught by any of the rest of us. They both have the Patriots and the Packers.

AndyD is the winner this past week. With 12 wins and a tie-breaker of 42 points he just edged out McGentrix who had a total score of 41 points. So, so close. I will have up to date standings and this week's games out around noon today.

@CoastalRat,
I believe I had 12 wins also. Is there something I've done to make myself invisible?

Based on this calculation (plus 2 wins), wouldn't the total winning number by 13 wins?

@Ragman,
Well, according to my stats, your winners were as follows.
Dallas, Minn, NYG, St. Louis, Houston, Detroit, Indy, Ariz, Denver, Sea and GB

Losers were Miami, NO, Cinn, SanFran, NE

Which game do I have wrong for you? I promise I'm not out to get you or anything. lol

@CoastalRat,
Pssst..NE won..so it wouldn't be counted in the loss category.
So everyone in the pool should have added a win. You should have the 13 wins as the winning total.

Ok, my bad. I had SanDiego beating NE. So, I cannot count and I am going blind. I obviously need a vacation. March and my cruise cannot get here soon enough. Everyone but MzCowDoc had NE, so the winners finished with 13 wins, not 12.

Thanks again to Ragman for keeping me in line.

@Ragman,
I should have known I had that one marked wrong. I have a co-worker who is a big NE fan and she let me know that they had won on Monday morning. Geesh, I don't know what has gotten into me the last couple of weeks.

@CoastalRat,
No problem. You're doing fine. Vacation time will be here soon.

I always wonder if someone doing the tallying would be helped by using a spread-sheet app. But then again, you'd need to be tuned in to knowing how to use it well. That lets me out.

Being a Pats fan and watching the game closely after last week's loss to GB, I was a bit 'surprised' you had me voting against my Pats.

As I asked you last week, to make it easier in scoring if you need the selections in the order you listed them in the beginning of the week I'd be happy to oblige.

@Ragman,
I actually have a spreadsheet set up for everything. It will automatically tally wins each week and add it to the YTD totals. The only problem is that the operator has to type in the correct winning team and must use the exact abreviations for the winning team that was used to type in each person's pick. And of course, as you found out last week, the games must be entered in the right order. lol

I think it was week one I had someone off by a game because I had entered their pick using a 4 letter abbreviation instead of a 3 letter abbreviation which I was using for everyone else. Maybe by the end of the season I will have things down pat. Just in time to forget it all by next year.
