@realjohnboy,
I picked the Bengals but am rooting for the Panthers. I hope we are all wrong.
@Finn dAbuzz,
Yes Finn, I hope we are all wrong also. In fact, had I gotten home in time today, I was going to change my pick to the Panthers. But alas, I did not make it. Will be rooting for them regardless.
Sigh. My second fantasy QB, admittedly a gamble but I like him, has had a bad day, sort of like some movies. I'm thinking of him as a somewhat like a pop up toy I had as a kid in the 40's.. sacked and smacked repeatedly, but popping right back up.
I can't see the games, in this case a good thing, but am interested in reading if this all can be remedied by other than a lot of months.
@ossobuco,
Bridgewater, if you didn't guess.
Mike Nugent missed a 36-yard field goal
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
@ossobuco,
Off subject - that toy was a Jack in the Box, a tin cube with a pop up guy (clown?).
Years later, I wonder if pop up toys have a kind of "keep trying" message.
@JPB,
JPB we just got back from working cattle today, how have the games gone? Is this your week? Sure hope so.
It looks like Rhys will win the week. He is sitting on 12 wins with the next best having only 10 (5 of us I think.) Since none of those with 10 wins have both remaining games different, that would make Rhys the winner.
@panzade,
It was. How is a tie dealt with? The game is thrown out?
@Finn dAbuzz,
I'm more of a glass is half full kinda guy.
Everybody wins!
As far as Rhys is concerned; when somebody picks Romo to go up and beat the Legion Of Boom in Seattle...well...well done lad.
I'm not worthy.
@Miz Cowdoc,
Hey T!
I was away all weekend at a music festival (which I'd much rather do than work cattle) and couldn't follow the games. Doubtful that it's my week. I'm just hopeful for a decent showing.
@panzade,
We were
here on Friday and
here Saturday and Sunday.
Edit: And
this is coming up this weekend.
@JPB,
OOOH Gin Blossoms!
...and I love Michael Doucet.
@JPB,
Saw Los Lobos in Vancouver....meh.
Ana Popovich and Joe Louis Walker are tasty.
I have no recollection about how we score ties. For what it is worth ESPN records is as a "no play."
@realjohnboy,
Meantime, St. Louis is alive.
Davis has brains.
