I just had hernia surgery a week ago and now that all the pain is gone and everything is starting to heal up, I noticed something in my scrotum. It's about the size of a large marble and feels like it has something attached to it that is leading up to my stomach, almost feels like a vein. Any ideas on what it could be?

Why not consult with and see your doctor? That is the best advice anyone could give. A decent and ethical medical person would advise you that way as well rather than offer a blind diagnosis.
