N.D. borders both Manitoba and Saskatchewan. It depends on where you are. It's about 90 km (60 miles) from Winnipeg to the border.

My grandparents lived in Winnipeg. All those times I visited and bought a ticket, I never won a peg at all. My aching missing leg....

We lived in Bismarck for a year, until my job evaporated. The farthest north we ever got was Minot, which I guess was about 90 minutes north of us. The border with Canada is maybe another 60 to 90 minutes farther north from Minot (just guessing here).
