I think it may go down that way because it was the first scene to sort of combine in a graphic manner the sex, violence and gore. You know, the stuff that's now been done to death by Jason and Michael, etc. It broke through a major taboo or two of the time and scared the living bejesus out of everyone for that reason. Todays kids would find it corny in the extreme and very mild no doubt because they're saturated with that and worse. Just MO.

Well, not exactly okay since I've always preached the protocol of checking to see if one is duplicating an active thread. I honestly wasn't paying close enough attention and posted it off my RoadRunner home page.
