Mid century painting signed BRENT?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew who the painter that signs their works with "BRENT" is? I have searched and searched only to find their work, but no website, no full name, no information on the painter. The painting was done between 1960- 1979.

We also have a painting signed in the same way and painted in a similar style (linked below). It was purchased around 1974. We haven't been able to find any information about the artist either. Have you had any luck?
