This is interesting. I listen to all kinds of music, including the kids mentioned here... I remember my sister was looking through my CD's and said, "My god, every one of your CD's has a picture of a demon or the devil on them!" And she was worried about me... lol. She closed the cd case before she saw all of my other kinds of music.

I just tell people that its not my fault that Satanists and Pagans make the best music, LOL.

The only thing that angers me is when people say "Oh you like Heavy Metal eh? Do you understand a word they are saying? All I hear is RAH RAH RAH!", and then they will have this goofy ass approval-wanting grin on their face. I usually just say I don't listen to cheerleader music.

Edit: And when they ask if I understand what they are saying, it is almost always in a patronizing douchebag kinda way. Also, I never got into the all black look....My style is more jeans and cool ass T-Shirt.

I don't know exactly where you got your info on people hateing headbangers but who knows? Personally I like rock and I headbang at concerts. Infact my youth pastor has to be the weirdest pastor I have ever meant, because he totally listens to acid rock heavy metal, (Christian obviously,) and it's so funny. He like totally rolls down the window, hits the dash board, sings/screams along, and headbangs in the car. He also dresses kinda punkish sometimes.

When I told him I used to chill at the mall he was like ,"That sucks!!." and he said that because it's concidered too trendy for him. Oh I just went a bit off topic I guess, but anyways there is like nothing wrong with headbanging. Rock out!!! (oh wait, I don't know how that would affect your brain though, shakeing it around is bound to not be the healthiest thing to do, but i'm sure it's not a big deal.)
