I can't help you with an answer. Your missing a few parameters such as what voltage (120 VAC), and at what current in amps you're running. However, I can refer you to a few websites that will allow you to calculate it yourself:
Rag is right of course, Berb, but if you have one available, as well as a voltmeter, is to try it out. Be sure to somehow apply full load, eg, yammer into it

Berb there's value to Nark's suggestion. Even if you get enough voltage there's the risk of cable overheat, esp if coiled up or in a warmer environ
