ajnabee, I've looked at this for an hour and I'm getting zero, may I ask you two questions?

Where are you situated in the world, and do you know the answer to this riddle?

"These are the initial letters of TOP TEN OF SOMETHING."

Question, "Where are you situated in the world,"?

"Why do u want to know my location.?
It has nothing to do with this question."

I think the question is fair considering there must be over 10 million top ten ?'things'.
Location may help to define a likely geographical topic.
If it was, say India it might be the top Ten ?'Bollywood' movies. England, top ten Kings. Top French wines. USA first ten states. Top ten Canadian lakes etc.

Top 10 Computer terms.
• FAX - What you lie about to the IRS.
• MEGAHERTZ - How your head feels after 17 beers.
• PAD - Where Mickey and Minnie live.
• BACKUP - What you do when you run across a skunk in the woods.
• Accident. - Where you miss the deadline.
• ROM - Where the pope lives.
• SCREEN - Helps keep the skeeters off the porch.
• HACKER - Uncle Leroy after 32 years of smoking.
• INTERNET - Where cafeteria workers put their hair.
• SCSI - What you call your week-old underwear.

Therefore the missing letters are, H,I,S. What! This is not the top 10 you were thinking of! Crying or Very sad I don't believe it, only 9,999,999 to go. :wink:

Good Try Tryagain.
Keep trying Tryagain.

I agree that there may be 10 million top ten things but this one is not specific to any country or location.
It is related to the whole world.

Ten major "world communions", which are international organizations of churches of the same tradition or confession.

• Friends World Committee for Consultation
• Methodist Council
• Pentecostal World Conference
• Baptist World Alliance
• Alliance of Reformed Churches
• Reformed Ecumenical Council
• Seventh Day Evangelists
• Eastern Orthodox Church
• Sunni Islam
• Catholic

E.S.C. Please send a BIG prize c/o A2K. What! It is not that list. In that case, another hint may well be in order. :wink:

Top ten pests in Homestead, Florida...

* Frogs
* Mice
* Pillbugs
* Bees
* Ants
* Roaches
* Snakes
* Silverfish
* Termites
* Snufleufugus

Warning, send the prize to me, not Tryagain! He was trying to deceive you with his obviously incorrect answer! (Everyone knows that "Seventh Day Evangelists" comes before "Reformed Ecumenical Council".)

"(Everyone knows that "Seventh Day Evangelists" comes before "Reformed Ecumenical Council"

Whilst I can not fault your logic, I feel I must point out a fatal flaw in in your otherwise impeccably argued and well structured case. And that is you were reading the list the wrong way round! Very Happy

I would also raise one small point and that is, your listing of ?'Snufleufugus'

"Many years past, Ten grew up. She found a little place called Neopia Central which she called 'home'. One day, Ten had just finished her shift at the local 'Grooming Galore' shop, when she bumped into another wocky. This wocky, unlike her, was a large fire wocky. Nodding a hello, they began to talk. Ten only had a couple of friends, Shenkizira and Shihaku. This wocky that she had just met was called Snufleufugus. Snu, said he also had a mate called Zinjeye, so Ten and Snu organised a gathering."

I feel you are confusing ?'Snufleufugus ?' with;

Snuffleupagus - A large shaggy brown elephant-like creature that debuted in 1971 on the children's program SESAME STREET/PBS/1969+. For many years adults on Sesame Street believed that Aloysius Snuffleupagus was the imaginary friend of Big Bird. In 1985, however, Snuffleupagus was seen by everybody for the first time. Snuffleupagus also had a sister named Alice who debuted in 1987.

A well known pest in Homestead no doubt. :wink:

In view of the ?'Bushwackers' seeking my claim, don't send the Big prize, I will come and collect it. Cool

This is indeed a most kind offer on your part and should I ever travel from Coral Gables via Cutler Ridge to Key Largo you can be sure I will drop by and say howdy. That is if the old ?'woody' will make it. On the other hand I hear the prize is a four ton elephant, so if I don't make it go Large on the hay order. Very Happy
