And the gorgeous actress Sheridan Smith, who played Cilla in a recent three part bio......(she actually sings her own stuff as well)

You come up with some really wonderful singers, Vonny.

@Setanta,
Thank you. But a lot of the singers on this thread are new to me too. Live and learn! Laughing

Do you know anyone who has a cell phone which can record a video? If so, is the sound quality of the recording good?

If you can get a video recording of your singing with a decent sound quality, you could upload that to Youtube. Give it a try, it can't hurt.

Just heard this on the radio, and it reminded me that I intended to post it on this thread a while ago. If someone has already done so, then you'll just have to suffer it all again.

In my opinion, one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

@vonny,
Two great versions of one of my fave tunes from the American Songbook.

I prefer Ethel's slow and sultry version; it comes close to the best one IMO, by Carmen McRae.

Here's another from one of my favorite cute singy girls, Sarah Donner. This one is kind of high-brow--The Rebuttal of Schrödinger's Cat.

I just posted this in another thread, and realized we probably have not yet heard from this singy girl.
