Problem 20. Suppose we have a uniform distribution that extends from
a − 2 to a + 2 where the value of a is not known. Suppose someone claims
that a > 0. Suppose the probability of a Type I error is 0.01. Find the
probability of a Type II error if the true value of a is actually 3.5.
the answer is 0.12, but i don't know how to solve this.
