In the numerous books about Secret
Agent 007, James Bond; bursting forth from
Ian Fleming & spawning movies from 1973 to
the current day, how many different men
have had the opportunity to play the part of
James Bond? Do you remember who starred
in which movies? WHO is your own personal
favorite at the portrayal of the movie secret
agent character James Bond?
THE CORRECT ANSWER IS 5! Sean Connery,
Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton
and Pierce Brosnon (so far)

I saw this question and thought to myself, "I bet Lightwizard remembers Casino Royale".

Aw, Babs, I don't blamed your forgetting John Huston's miserable
attempt at a farcical spoof. I believe he wanted to forget about that film.

Hey! I liked Casino Royale. Not a great movie, granted, but an entertaining farce.

One of your guilty pleasures, Merry? Actually there were three directors and there are some moments of hilarity within the film but it virtually has no plot and the humor is uneven at best. Incidentally, Welles and Sellars couldn't stand being in the same room together and their scenes were filmed seperately with stand-ins! If it's on a premium channel in a decent print (the prints I saw years ago were terrible), I'll try to catch it again.

How many actors have played the role of 007, James Bond?
Casino Royale had quite a cast. Besides David Niven, Woody Allen and Orson Welles, Deborah Kerr, Ursula Andress, Daliah Lavi, and in bit parts Charles Boyer, William Holden, George Raft, Jean-Paul Belmondo and John Huston.

How many actors have gotten trapped in a production they later regret? The film was a critical and box-office flop and I don't think people didn't go to see the film because of the critical lambasting it received. I think word of mouth torpedoed it. Warren Beatty and Dustin Hoffman certainly wish they could forget "Ishtar!"
