My friend is 25, but looks 12. She needs legal advice. NSFW legal advice.

My friend wants to start her own porn company. And sell her own porn. But she looks a lot younger than she really is. And is very petite. So she is concerned that it will cause legal issues.

What should she do? She is 25, but is 5'3" and looks like she's 12 in the face.

She does have a legal state ID, but that won't always help in my opinion. People might talk and get the police involved without even asking if she is over 21 first.

What should she do??

@Mana89,
And please don't delete it this time. My friend really needs advice that I can't give because I don't know the answer. I'm not trying to troll anyone, neither is she. This is a possible career choice for her. And it is her choice. So please don't report this or delete this. She is being serious and so am I!

Then she should hire an attorney, like most people do when they start legit businesses, and find out how to protect herself from being accused of running an underage shop.

People who seriously ask for business or legal advice on a web forum only have themselves to blame when they end up in bankruptcy court or jail.

@McGentrix,
How about posting you're own advice instead of agreeing with another...... -__-

@Mana89,
Pay now or pay later. I don't suppose you will like my comments either.

@roger,
Your comment are more helpful and sound less acidic and sarcastic. So I do like your comments. You actually sound like you are trying to help. Thank you.

how about realizing that Jespah's advice was the right answer. Nothing wrong with someone telling you they agree.

In any case, you either need to do the legal research yourself ( and hope for good luck ) or call around locally to find out what legal fees would be. People post here from around the world. The costs in one city/county/country won't necessarily apply anywhere else.

Free legal advice is worth every penny you paid for it. Especially if you ask us for it. Pay a lawyer now is much cheaper than paying later. A person who portrays herself as twelve is in as much trouble as someone who films a twelve year old. Talk to a real lawyer.

Does this usually make people want to help you?
I mean, it's not like there's anything in it for us to help you.

As far as being a dumbass, yesterday before the thread was deleted I asked if you friend had proof of her being 25. You said yes, but couldn't understand why I would ask such a fundamental question.

If that's working with what you have upstairs, I don't know if anyone can help you.

Ok, she should hire an attorney, like most people do when they start legit businesses, and find out how to protect herself from being accused of running an underage shop.

You want legal advice, that's what attorneys do. Even if she wants to create an LLC, she will need an attorney. Quit being a hostile asshole when people try to answer your questions.

@bobsal u1553115,
She wouldn't be portraying herself as a 12 year old but as her real age!! 25!!

If the answers are rude (to me) I'm going to be rude back.

@Mana89,
No one has been rude to your here.

You just don't like it that we are all advising the same thing, so you retaliate by using profanity and being aggressive.

Even if someone is rude to another, the receiver has the choice to be a bigger person, and not return the favor.

You've gotten your answer, what else are you looking for?

@chai2,
That's your opinion. And you don't know me so don't assume that is what I was doing. My friend wanted me to ask this and in taking it seriously. But to me at least it feels like no one else is. I just want to know if there is anything she should do, besides hire a lawyer. She has no money to spare. She just wants to know if maybe for example she should wear make up to look older in the videos. Or maybe offer a disclaimer saying she is 25 in the video somehow.

A porn actress is kind of like a prostitute really, and if she is exploiting that she looks like a kid to make money, that's even more creepy. But this pimp, sorry, dickweed runs his mouth like he's the injured party? WTF? Just saying.

And you don't know us, so don't assume what we were doing. We did take it seriously by stating the best thing to do was talk to an attorney. That's the answer, regardless of how much it costs, or how much money you have. You start any new business, online porn or a snow cone stand, you see a laywer.

You've got your advise, and btw, disclaimer information is handled by an attorney. I don't believe you'll be getting makeup advice here.

How about having your "friend" come by and ask her own questions?

As I said, it's not like we're under any obligation, and you calling people names doesn't exactly make us beholden to you.

If you didn't like the suitable answer given here, you'll need to go ask somewhere else I suppose. You're not going to be getting any different answers here.
