Your post was a kind of ejaculation, I daresay?

I had a pal once, who, if he met a bloke he thought was a twat, used to say "He's just a johnny full of spunk".

I believe that to be a truism.

While it is acceptable to use ejaculate, it is obvious to most of us, I think, that it should be used only when its presence will not be a distraction. You otherwise may lose the good will of the reader.

It's very distractive, far off the right track of good English. Cool

@oristarA,
Not really. It's just a play on the various meanings of the word.

I'm writing something and want to use the word "ejaculate" in the sense of a sudden verbal outburst, but is this usage outdated?

Another word with a double meaning is "intercourse", meaning to open communications with somebody.
So you'd be quite entitled to write something like "I had intercourse with Rodney and he suddenly ejaculated", but you'd get some very funny looks..

There was a McGill postcard I saw at Margate as a kid; it showed a sitting room with four adults sitting on the sofa, and in the foreground is a little girl answering the phone, and she is saying "Mummy and Daddy are having relations on the sofa"
