Yep...it's out there eclipsing as we speak - and I don't even need to go outside - I can see it from here - now that I've opened the window!

It is a bit chilly - but I've taken a photo to send to the friend who drew my attention to it last night! (Mind you - the photo is a tiny moon, in a black sky!)

Very Happy It's rising 5.40am - ain't no-one out there to see me anyway!

Moon is down to it's tiny last slice, now. Supposed to be a meteor storm, too - as we pass through the tail of Halley's Comet - but nothing else to be seen

Damn meteor storms! I have stayed up and gone outside for the damn things several times - never happened. And Halley's was a fizzle.

Missed missing the moon.

Back home, used to go up to the top of Big Hill, up by the radio transmitter, for the meteor showers. Good stuff, but you had to be damned patient.
