In respect to current draw for battery applications I am confused.
If an electronic device states a power consumption of 12v/600mA, is that per second, per minute or what? I understand it need constant 12vdc but does it also using 600mA / second? I don't know why I can't get a handle on this.

Rap the ampere is a rate of flow like gallons per minute, while the milliampere of course is a thousandth of an ampere
