i was suppose to trade my truck for a car and i signed my title over to the dude and when it come time to sign his title to me he wouldnt sign it over what do i do i tried to call him and text him but he want answer

Either means that he stole it (his vehicle or has no clear title) or he welshed on the business deal and a police report should be made out .
When you signed and handed the title over to him what was his excuse for not giving you the title? Why did you hand him your title without his title being in his hand?
