Briefly I am trying to determine if the results I obtained are within the range of normal compared to what I am told the answer should be.
So I was told that 23% of all M&M's are blue. I purchased 49 bags counted and found that -
0% 12 times
4.17 1 times
4.25 1 time
4.55 1 time
4.76 2 times
5.0 8 times
5.26 3 times
6.25 1 time
9.09 1 time
9.52 3 times
10% 5 times
10.52% 2 times
13.64 1 time
14.29 1 time
15% 2 times
15.79 1 time
16.67 1 time
17.39 1 time
21.05 1 time
23.81 1 time

So how do I calculate if the results are "normal" ? I have similar results for each of the other colors.
