My grandfather found this painting in an attic in St. Louis back in the 40's or 50's. He couldn't find a name on it and we have no idea who might of painted this. Any clues?? http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz103/tim_scott2/photo_zps032ad8b3.jpg

@Lincolns Mullet,
Looks like there's a signature in the lower right corner. Can you talk a closeup of just that?

@jespah,
Here's a couple more closeups. No signatures that I can see anywhere. http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz103/tim_scott2/PART_1393795984302_IMG_7343jpg_zps68955516.jpeg

Sorry, I thought I saw something in the extreme lower right-hand corner, but by clicking on the initial post (which provides a bit of a closeup in Photobucket), it looks like it was just part of a rock in the scene.

@jespah,
Mystery solved! This is a lithograph by Eugene Iverd titled "Just Wait Till I Grow Up" which was likely done in 1935. It appears there is more to the picture at the bottom, which would display the title and artist signature, but is missing that section. It's also quite faded compared to the mint versions you can view online.

@Lincolns Mullet,
Just curious: why did you call this a "painting"?

@PUNKEY,
Because I'm completely clueless when it comes to the terminology. I didn't even know what a lithograph was until an hour ago!

@ossobuco,
Thank you. It's been a decades-long mystery and I just really wanted to know more about it.

@Lincolns Mullet,
Your litho is likeable, faded or not (and art photos can vary re color online rather widely for a lot of reasons), glad you nabbed it.
