My 95 Buick Century automatic transmission shifts from overdrive to third gear after driving for a while or after hard driving such as in rush hour traffic. What is the problem here? Is it modulator valve, throttle position sensor or computer related?

I had a similar problem with my Hyundai Sonata '99. İt was a "throttle position sensor" problem. To check it I just pluged off the sensor connector and first started the engine and wait for a moment. Then I was shure that engine runs good. Then I had a ride at "overdrive" irregular shifts to third gear stopped. But the car was running like at "sports mode" shifting up at arround 5000 rpm and shifting down at 2000 rpm. Good luck.
