I know the average of a group that consists of two subgroups. I know the number in the two subgroups and of course then the total. I know the average of one of the subgroups. How can I work out the 0average of the other subgroups...(Basically overall average of group of say 200 is 65%, subgroup B which is 150 has an average of 70%. Sub group C is 50. What is the average score pf sibgroup C)

@gougdh,
(150)(70) + (50)(x) = (200)(65)
10500 +50x = 13000
50x= 2500
x=50
