I'm not quite sure what your question is.

Do you need to add the word "congratulations" to the sentence?

If so, you could write:

Congratulations to the following students who won third prize for (name of category they won in) in the (name of competition).

For example:

Congratulations to the following students who won third prize for best wheeled vehicle in the National Robotics Championship.
