Two movies I ever saw which I thought were seriously scary...

One was a thing taken straight from the pages of history books and called "The Devils" or "The Devils of Loudonne" depending on where you saw it and was about the French inquisition. The other and the most frightening film of all time by any standards was Alien. When the alien got Yaphet Kotto, half the people in the theater I was watching the thing in either feinted dead away like the fat old woman sitting in front of me or got up and ran (not walked) out the door.
