Is Spanish's a correct possessive?

There doesn't seem to be anything technically wrong with "Spanish's" as a possessive, but it still doesn't sound right. Example: "Spanish's five vowels form the classic vowel triangle." Of course I could reword as "the five vowels of Spanish" but in some cases I don't want to. Any advice?

@joie2,
I believe when Spanish is used as a noun, the correct plural is Spanish's. I don't think it sounds strange.

@maxdancona,
Max: the correct plural is Spanish's. I don't think it sounds strange.

It sounds very strange to call it the plural, Max.
