Recreating the Same JS Effect

I am trying to make the 4 images all have a fade in efffect with the image that it loads upon mouseover. This is the code I have, each image will load a different picture above that image.

The correct look is on the top, and the correct action is ont he bottom. I need 3 more boxes that I can place inside the table for it to have the correct result. Here is the code I am working with:

Got it, so if I understand correctly you want the bottom effect (i.e. the fade) but on the above script?

Ok, I had another look and apparently I don't get it. What is the correct "action"? They both seem to do the same thing, with different effect.

Incidentally, if you send me the images in a zip I can test it locally. Otherwise I'd have to either add all the path names or create my own images. Both would probably mean I put off the effort.

Man.... My computer got screwed up. Ill have to get back to you on this one. Next goal right now is to backup the hd and hope for the best!
