You'll find my spelling is riotous;-)
Roger:
I am at best an aweful speller, in this case incite is the right word.
Inspite of my continueing battle with Lysdexia I sometimes get it right.

Welcome, Buzzcook! Here's hoping we can all cook up something fine together. (I'm a 104-year-old lesbian posing as a 64-year-old straight male.)

Welcome to all with a special welcome to Gudalupe and Art!! So glad you found your way here. BTW, I was mmediane on abuzz.

man ...

<starts looking a bit bewildered>

this ... thing here is highly confusing. i mean, not confusing. just very very strange. i mean, its like, you know, you're on a walk through your old hometown and you suddenly pass by your old school and you think, hey, i wonder what has come of that? so you open the door (all shiny and new and different from what you knew), walk into the central hall and there, gathered around the tables playing cards and being loud and running around, all are your high school mates of old, all of them, every corner you turn there's another one, it's weird - !

or no, its more like, you have your regular joint to hang out in, the neighbourhood pub, y'know, and you get to meet some of the regulars, and then after a while you spend way too much time there and have a lot of fun. life changes and you dont get much there anymore and then you start noticing that when you do, nobody you knew's there anymore, as if some secret plague has taken them all out, just the same old grumpy muppets squabbling at the bar. then one night you take a walk around the block, pass by this & that cafe and the neighbourhood banana store and you walk past this fancy new coffeebar, you decide, oh what the heck - and there everybody is, all of them together being raucous! well strange.

anyways, back to work ;-)

I should have realised I was lacking something when I started spending half-nights on the Livable Rotterdam forum. (Thats where Fortuynists come to bag on foreigners and 'old politics' and a couple of us to try & keep the other side of the argument posted) ;-)
