I read fast in passing that yahoo has lost posts, but don't trust me on that.

I've lost mail a few times due to system crashes.
Fortunately I use Google mail and all email is retained on their servers and can be re-downloaded whenever you like.

Lots of Yahoo mail users have lost the content of their Inbox.

Yahoo is working on that but many users still don't have their inbox back.
