Help me understand, the differences and similarities of Iran’s and Israel’s multifaceted political systems and explain to me its impact on their domestic, regional, and foreign policy.
Israel is ruled to a large extent by America, but Iran can do just as they please.

An elegant act of diversion, since the popular culture does include a nice schmear of anti-Semitism. Why were Jews the tax collectors in medieval Europe? Answer: So when the peasants revolted they said, "Get the (Jewish) tax collector."
When Saddam blitzed Israel with Scuds, Israel want to bomb him to hell but America said "No".
And now Israel wants to blitz Iran's reactors but America says "No".
America has been pumping cash and super-duper weaponry into Israel for many years, so Israel feels morally obliged to grit their teeth and do as America tells them.
