# Correlation method for segmentation attributes used in dating sites

Wed 27 Nov, 2013 10:23 pm
What statistical equation should I use to correlate two sets of segmentation data per the attached example. This would be similar to a dating site, where I have two people looking at one another’s profiles. Factoring in the following:
1. In some cases a variable might be non-existent as in the case of “Interests” as that field might not been completed by the user.
2. Also, many of the attributes are weighted differently by the opposite party i.e. Person A weights the importance of Person B’s and vice versa.

@nolros,
As most of the members here are American, they won't start snooping around on this site for a few more hours owing to the time lag between the developed world and the far flung colonies out west.
I'm sure, however, that when they muster themselves and log on, they will be queuing to provide the necessary information.
