I saw a 1976 XJ12C V12 Jaguar for sale for $8,100.00 dollars. Does anyone have any experience with Jguars.
I've heard a lot of bad things about them.
Unless it has ZERO original wiring & a truckload of maintainence rec ords, run away from this money pit as fast as you can.
I agree with Jarlaxle. That thing will put you in an early grave.
I can tell you from here,The heater matrix is leaking, the rear discs need replacing(most of the rear subframe needs to be dropped for this)the diff is leaking, the engine is running hot, and it's only firing on 11 cyls but it's so smooth you haven't noticed, its letting in water round the windows, one of the fuel tanks is leaking, the emergency brake stopped working in 1977,the head lining is hanging down,it thumps when you go from reverse to drive and the electrics only work every other day
LOL, someone knows their British electronics
My bf's got a 1962 ford falcon you can have!!!! Please come pick it up!!!!
Question for car buffs:
Why do the English drink warm beer?
Answer: .srotaregirfer sacuL esu yeht esuaceB.
The problem with cars like Jag's is that the failure of one little squidget can cost an arm and a leg.
The best Jag I ever saw was a 1970's XJS coupe, with a complete driveline (330HP LT4/6-speed) transplanted from a wrecked 1996 Corvette Grand Sport. Now THAT I would like to own!

Hey,
I realize that I'm replying to a very old post, but, Hawaii, if you're still around, please contact me about that car you were considering buying.
