In UK & US universities, are undergraduates required to take lessons on physical education? (eg swimming/table tennis/badminton/basketball/football/soft ball)

Only beer drinking exercises are compulsory. Every other physical activity is banned before noon, and even then it is entirely optional.
Twice daily brisk masturbation is compulsory for British male students.
