Can a Lexus car last until 300k miles?

any modern (non shitbox) car can go 300,000 with proper maintenance.

two of my three domestic vehicles are within 15k of that number.

and my third has over 200k on it.

maintenance maintenance maintenance...

Is it possible for me to replace the engines to keep the car go to like 400k miles?

Is this a bad idea as it will cost a lot?

No I cant, I know the labor cost a lot more than the engine.

poor folks that can't work on cars should not own luxury vehicles...

there are so many things more likely to cost you $500 than losing the motor, it would make your head spin.

reminds me of when my attorney and his wife wanted to buy a baby beemer.

they could not afford to repair it, and he made enough jack to support both of them.

retail it and buy something you can afford to repair...

You think you can afford it? I suggest you know you can afford the maintenance. Don't go into debt unless you have to, do the math.

Lexus is a luxury brand. As long as it is regularly service then it will last. I have heard of a Camry Taxi that did twice that amount before being used as a private vehicle.
