@McTag,
Same old McTag song and dance routine. You, McTag, advance nonsense and then it's your good ole protracted shuck and jive.

@JTT,
Oristar: what rule are you working to?

McT: It's not a rule

JTT: Your rules are nonsense.

McT: I'm not working to any rule

JTT: So what are you working to then?
Quote:
You, McTag, advance nonsense

I didn't make this up, it really happened. Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.

I wonder who will be the smartest mice to get out of the maze first.

Eh, you've said "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here."

I suggest this topic for an academic discussion:

The Singularity of JTT's Thoughts

Abandon hope if you've passed the event horizon of JTT's singularity.

Merely a general comment on your offerings of "rules".

McT: I'm not working to any rule

JTT: So what are you working to then?

A perfectly legitimate question, McTag, although I do realize that it is one you don't like to hear. You say you aren't describing a rule. What are you using to determine that your advice is valid.

You still haven't addressed this, below, Ori.

After all this time, Ori, and you, like so many, still don't understand.

What you wrote above is pure, unadulterated drivel.

It is no way that all McTag's rules are nonsense.
Thus, you have to face the music:

@JTT,

Simply repeating makes little sense.
Show us your rules.
McTag is good at English. I've learnt a lot from him. To insult him is to insult yourself, JTT.

That's true, Ori, McTag is good at English, [in the unconscious sense] but he is terrible at describing the workings of English.

When he advances a silly notion, he is incapable of describing why. He is so mentally bogged down with idiotic prescriptions. Notice how he has diligently avoided your questions. Notice how often he takes that particular tack.

Remember, it isn't you that has to spend the time sorting out the nonsense.

In that case, you'd criticise him in the manner of gentility, because he's a gentleman. No rude comment. Just show him the elegance of your scholarship.

Is that a prescription, a rule or a McTag uninformed opinion?

It's a fact.
Do you want to make helpful and illuminating comment, or just play more of your silly games?

I think that you would have tried to milk that, if the tables were turned but no matter.

Helpful and illuminating comments might be more that simply saying "it's a fact". Ori suggested that you present something that would prove your point and what have you done since, besides nothing?
