I want to hook up three floodlights outside that I bought from Lowes. Each one is 300 watt halogen flood lights. How many amps will these pull on standard household current.

P=I*V
P=300 watt V=120V so I=300/120 Amp = 2.5 Amp per light. Three lights--- 7.5 Amp--I'd place all three on a 15 Amp breaker .
