I have a 50 ft, 10 gauge/20 amp extension cord, it has male and female NEMA 5-20R connectors. I found some NEMA 5-20R to NEMA 5-15P adapters online, if I were to get one of these adapters and plug the 20 amp extension cord into a standard household 15 amp circuit, are there any dangers if I keep the amps under 15?

@derwert,
Nice extension cord to have, keeps the VD to a minimum. The cord will not be a problem and should you overload the house circuit, that is what circuit breakers are for.
