Who would win in a laugh off between, The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park.....well you saw all the possible contestants.

Have you seen the new Jerry Seinfeld and Superman? That's pretty funny.

I think that I'd vote for the Simpsons. I first saw them on Tracie Ulmann's show and was struck by their originality. Of course, a lot of times they make me crazy, too.

I'm torn between The Simpsons and Family Guy. But I voted Family Guy because it's a bit more low brow, and I like that Laughing

Hah Laughing , not really but The Simpsons do have a lot more topical humor than Family Guy did. But you'd never hear some of the jokes that Family Guy used on The Simpsons. For example, Homer recently started to follow his dream to become a renaissance fair jouster, but is quickly discouraged by The Black Night. He is feeling down and Marge walks in and says "Homer, why don't you have on your suit of armor? The big meet is in 2 hours.." She is interrupted by Homer and he says "Wait, did you just say big meat? Hahaha". See what I mean?

Yes. Sorry I missed it.That sounds funny. I love Marge. Somebody told me once that I was like her. (Didn't know whether to be offended or not.) I have almost every one of the first three years of Simpsons on tape. Maybe someday I'll revisit them.

Nah, that was a Family Guy gag, I was saying that The Simpsons would never have that sort of gag on the show.

No it wasn't a dream sequence. The Simpsons never did and never will use this joke. I was showing the difference between a Simpson joke, and a typical Family Guy joke.

How is this for an example of Family Guy, the song “I need a Jew” I can’t see Homer singing that one. Fox would not air that episode of Family Guy.

I enjoyed that episode, even though I had to pay 40 dollars for the DVD to see it.

The funniest shows on tv are the religious ones. Any time I see a priest or an televangelist or a nun or some such thing I know I'm in for some deep belly laughs.

I especially like that guy who knocks people over with a breath of air.

I voted Simpsons, but I think every show on this list is superior to most of the non-animated sit coms currently running. I wonder why that is. Better writers? More freedom for "location" work? Absence of a studio audience and laugh track?

Confused Ths is a tough poll. At the moment l would choose king of the hill. Because of the fact that l'm in the mood for it now!!

I haven't seen Family Guy much but what l have seen l liked.

And the Simpsons l've been watching it for more then half my life - thats really an unfair advantage. I'm sticking with King of the hill.

Idea You should have included beavis and butthead- l would have voted for them.

I loved Beavis and Butthead too. However, I would still cast my vote for The Simpsons, because of the writing, and the longevity of the series.
