Please help identify artist or style?

Hello. This is part of a much larger painting that was sold as a poster print I had as a teenager in the 80's, other than this I can't tell you much about it and I don't have the poster anymore.

Would be delighted to find out who the artist was. Even some guidance as to what the style is called might be helpful.
