I received an apparent robocall for a candidate for district attorney. However, the call did not identify who was speaking; who paid for and/or authorized the call; or even the name of the candidate that the call was apparently intended to support. It only mentioned the name of that candidate's opponent and gave negative information on him.
Is that legal?

Probably - unless the information gives the basis for a defamation case or somesuch, the laws vary depending where you are on the globe.
