Lots of people hoping Abbott's hubris will force a double dissolution over the budget. I dont suppose the murdoch press has turned on him yet and called him a liar?

I read john hewson (arguably the last pollie to be honest about his plans pre-election, and to whom abbott was a staff member). Withering on the lack of vision but it did make me wonder if Abbott's lie about everything was because of his experience of losing the unlosable election in 1993

It is weird isnt it. Is clive having a mid/life crisis or does he have an endgame in mind. A minor correction he wasn't a lib- he was a nat with deep links to joh. Scary. And cunning as the proverbial **** house rat.

Hewson's explanation on how the GST worked using a plain birthday cake verses an iced birthday cake, was the death knell. I think Hewson was honest and I think Brendan Nelson was honest. The current conservative rabble is just a blot on Australian democracy. I would call it joke if it wasn't so bloody serious.

A scenario for you.

A boat is international waters. Another boat comes along takes all the people off the first boat against their will and takes them somewhere other than their intended destination. The people on the first boat were doing nothing illegal and they did not request the presence of the second boat.

What is the word to describe that?
