Which transport system do a certain group of people refer to by a name that happens to be that of of a post world war 2 Grand national winner?

GREAT FUN QUIZ Question from the latest quiz which we have had for precisely one week - the closing date is SEPEMBER 13th so still time to try and work it out for yourself which is much more satisfying than being given the answer. Also questions from it are not to be asked on Q & A sites at the request of the setter which you are fully aware of but repeatedly choose to ignore.

I have looked back at all the Aintree Grand National winners but cannot find a link. I am now thinking this could be a trap and it is a GREYHOUND Grand National winner. Cunning!
