I just posted this somewhere else accidentally (I plead new kid on the block Embarrassed ) so I'm posting it again but it the right spot this time.

I'm interested in finding some recipes for English food. I've mastered shepherd's pie and I made my first treacle tart yesterday, but now I'd like to collect more recipes for traditional English dishes, from the plain to the fancy.

Thank you!

Re: Need recipes for English food
Isn't Shepards pie that meal that has meatloaf on the bottom, mashed potatos in the middle and cheese melted on the top? I used to love that when I was a kid. I didn't know it was English food though.

Anyway, here's a link that may interest you:

Have you Googled?

www.google.com

"English cooking recipes" might be a bit broad, but you can narrow your search by region (Wales, Yorkshire, Cornwall, etc.) or by names of recipes you've heard of (spotted dick, toad in the hole, etc).

Good luck.
