It could be any name attached to the Midnight nickname. Maybe she works as a nurse, or a waitress at an all night diner, or maybe she's a cop. Maybe she got the nickname from working so many graveyard shifts. Maybe she dresses all in black every day and people started calling her Midnight.

Regardless of what name is chosen, the thought came to mind whether any name chosen has already been used in a commercial application. If so, the copyright infringement laws might come into play, perhaps:

The whole process of choosing a name might be problematic, since a doll could have the name chosen, and that name was copyrighted. In my opinion, the whole question of name choosing in a potentially publishable work needs to be studied. I do not even know if any "disclaimer" satisfies any legal needs?
