I have upgraded to iphone 5 from iphone 4. how can the two phones have their own iTunes account, I gave my girlfriend the iphone 4, but use the same computer if any changes on the phones are made the other phone changes.

If it were me, I'd go to the itunes help pages or do a Google search to see what people do in multiple-iphone families. Surely, there are more than a few couples with more than one iphone and even more families who have handed down old iphones to their kids.
