realism and non cognitivism

If it were the case that realism is false in both the non naturalist and naturalist senses, but non cognitivism is true, would this take the wind out of our moral sails? Would we still be able to resist what we consider to be evil, with sufficient passion? Especially, if we discover our leftist or right winger view are innate should this tend to scramble our assessment of where the worm lives
