Can anyone help identify this oil painting? It has darkened with age, and doesn't appear to have any signatures. It's probably German or Dutch, and approximately 24"l x 18"h unframed. Any info, educated guesses or otherwise, are appreciated
Wow! It's "Ein Schwein im Bett mit dem Priester", (A Pig in Bed with the Priest) by Antony van Gheerhening (1755-1822), as I can see very clearly. Middle Flemish Bestial School. Worth about $5.
