Hi IT Experts,
may I ask how a small company runs their website normally?Do they use a server to run it also?

I guess it depends on where you are. In the US, a small company would normally pay a small fee to a hosting company that would run the server and associated software.

Can I say that the small company will create a website themselves and send it to the hosting company?

Yes, or they can hire a site designer to make something that looks professional. There are several content management systems that allow users to put together a pretty nice website, add documents and do online upkeep.

I see,the hosting prices are quite cheap but I studied an ASP basic course at school and I realized it was quite confusing.
