Thank you for posting your reply I really apprecitate you replying.
I have been to the www.deadlikeme.tv/home site and I have now signed up for the MGM newsletter and I am looking forward to the DVD release date as I will definitely be buying it.

June is indeed a month I really am looking forward to first of all the release of the new Harry Potter movie which is my favourite book of the 5 by J K Rowling 'The Prisoner of Azkaban' and also I can buy the Dead Like Me DVD series one.

The first series HAS been shown on Brit T.V. a few months ago I watched it, it certainly is a bit different, although it wasn't really my cup of tea.

Well worth a look though.

yes dead like me was shown last yr on sky one, but i guess if u havent got sky/cable u wont have seen it yet, very very good tv show.funny humour dark and quirky but all the same funny with its sentimental emotional side that makes u think but doesnt make u cry(thank god!)

my main question is when does the second series start? i have been to the MGM site but seems to be showing recaps of the first series but given new dates if anyone understands me, could someone please leave me either a pm or post here if they have any idea as to when the new second series starts.

eternity, I believe the second season is in production. Whether or not it will be picked up is a hard thing to predict, so there probably won't be much info on start dates for some time.

Being in Australia I, of course, have not seen DLM at all but know a heck of a lot about it - being a huge Mandy Patinkin fan

I found out about that STUPID policy of Showtime, not to let people from outside America access their poxy website, ages ago. Who needs them when there are other ways to get to see the content you're interested in?

Unless the release date is changed, the Season 1 DVD is due for release on June 15 - which, very coincidently, will be Mandy's 24th wedding anniversary. I'm looking forward to finally watching the series.

The DVD set will be much cheaper than paying another fan in the US to send videos taped from the TV, like I was originally going to do.
